We are committed to helping protect marine habitats across the globe, in hopes to ensure future flourishing seas for generations to come. Through charitable donations by the La Mer Blue Heart Oceans Fund, we strive to create ripples of good that lead to waves of change.
LA MER BLUE HEART
OCEANS FUND
We launched this fund to further our La Mer Blue Heart initiatives, which help support ocean conservation efforts around the world.
TO PROTECT THE OCEAN IS TO PROTECT OURSELVES
50% OF EARTH'S OXYGEN COMES FROM THE OCEAN.
Protect the organisms that produce it by supporting the planting of mangroves and seagrass.
THE SEA HAS BECOME 30% MORE ACIDIC IN THE PAST 200 YEARS DUE TO CARBON EMISSIONS.
Take fewer car trips and save one pound of carbon for every mile not driven.
80% OF MARINE POLLUTION ORIGINATES INLAND.
Get involved in neighborhood clean-up programs—local acts have a global impact.

COASTAL RESTORATION
Our support for The Nature Conservancy
The Nature Conservancy’s work in the Caribbean is dedicated to strengthening the resilience of coastal communities and protecting resources they depend on. So far, we’ve helped them plant over 400,000 mangroves in the Dominican Republic, protecting against coastal erosion and the impacts of climate change.
OCEAN EDUCATION
Our support for the Oceano Azul Foundation
"To aid them in their mission of creating a Blue Generation in the Azores (and eventually more of the Portuguese-speaking world), we supported the development of educational content and a training program that has equipped nearly 30% of Azorean teachers to bring ocean literacy to primary school students on the islands.
We also supported the Oceano Azul Expedition, leading to the discovery of the LUSO Hydrothermal Field. This area has unique environmental conditions compared to other known hydrothermal fields, creating a zone of high biological, geological and chemical importance."
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
Our support for EarthEcho International
"EarthEcho’s OceanEcho 30X30 initiative aims to build a global youth movement to protect 30% of our ocean by 2030. Key regions of focus include the Galápagos, Antarctica, coastal California and southeast Florida.
Together, we also launched the Future in the Bag campaign, working with local communities across the United States to reduce the use of plastic bags."
